Club Team Tryouts (Regional & make-up National)

Prerequisite: None

Description: A two-day tryout to determine placement onto a club team. 

Participants: Girls age 10U to 18, and boys age 10U-14.  Coed teams.  

Frequency: Tryouts are offered on specified dates, based on age.

Cost: $25 for the tryout session

Club team tryout details:

Tryouts are scheduled by age:

  • Age 17-18, Nov 11 & 12 (Mon & Tues), 4:30-6:00pm
  • Age 15-16, Nov 11 & 12 (Mon & Tues), 6:30-8:00pm
  • Age 13-14, Nov 4 & 5 (Mon & Tues), 5:30-7:00pm
  • As 12 & under, Nov 4 & 5 (Mon & Tues), 7:00-8:00pm

Note: the age of the athlete is determined by their age on 1 Jul 2025

Tryout session costs $25.  

Regional Teams (13U-18U)

What to expect this season:

  • 18 weeks of progressive training - 3 hours of practice per week
  • Season goes until early Apr 2025
  • 6x Local AVA or AAU Tournaments
  • There is no travel planned for the regular season

All-inclusive Team Fee is $1250 .  (Team  fees do not include uniform which is approximately $130)

AAU membership is required ($20); purchase a "youth athlete" membership at https://aausports.org/ .  Make sure that you associate your athlete with High Country volleyball club (W3ET7W)

Regional Teams (12U)

What to expect this season:

  • 18 weeks of progressive training - 3 hours of practice per week
  • Season goes until early Apr 2025
  • 6x Local AVA Tournaments

Annual Club Seasons

The Boys' Club season runs from July to December each year.  Practices occur in July and Aug.  Tournaments take place from September to early December.

The Girls' Club season runs from November to May.  Practices occur in November and December.  Tournaments take place from January to May.

National Championship tournaments for both Boys and Girls occur in June and July.

High Country Teams

National Teams are High Country's advanced teams.  They are competitive, organized to win, and have a goal of earning a bid to and attending the National Tournament.

Regional Teams are High Country's low to intermediate level teams.  They are organized to be competitive, have fun, and instill the love of volleyball in all athletes.
